Hamilton Color Lab Policies Please familiarize yourself with our policies. These are the guidelines we adhere to in the day to day operation of the lab. Many of your questions will be answered here. Should you have further questions or comments about any of our policies, please don't hesitate to check out our faq pages or contact us. BUSINESS HOURS Monday through Friday: 8:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Saturday: 9:00 A.M. - 12 noon for dropping off or picking up orders. These times do not include weekends, holidays, packaging or pick-up and delivery time. Large quantities may require additional time, so please specify your required delivery date. STANDARD PRINT SIZES Many image formats are not proportional to standard print sizes. Therefore, if standard print sizes are desired, you need to indicate the areas of your image that you wish to have cropped. Cropping 35mm proportions to standard frame sizes... FULL FRAME CROPPING Full frame prints include all of the image area and may not fill out the standard print sizes. On full-frame orders horizontal images will have a white border on the bottom of the print, vertical images will have the border on the left side of the print. You may also specify that the borders be split equally. Cropping 35mm proportions to standard frame sizes... COPYRIGHTS Hamilton Color Lab will not copy, duplicate, or reproduce any image without the express permission of the rightful owner of the image. Any photographic image, computer graphic, derived by traditional or any electronic means, presented to Hamilton Color Lab by anyone other than the rightful owner, must have a written copyright release to accompany the order. If a release is not available the customer will have to fill out a Copyright Ownership Indemnification Agreement which will be kept on file at Hamilton Color Lab, Inc. RUSH SERVICE Rush service is available at the following rates: Same day = 200% surcharge 24 hours = 100% surcharge 48 hours = 50% surcharge OVERTIME CHARGES Work scheduled on an overtime basis (other than business hours) and weekend weekend work must be scheduled in advance. Charges will be determined by the job and must be authorized before placing the order. SHIPPING Out of town orders will be sent by the delivery system of your choice. We normally use the U.S. Postal Service, UPS or FedEx. The following handling/packaging charge is in addition to the shipping charge. Photos and Transparencies up to 8" x 10" = $4.00 Sizes over 8" x 10" up to 16" x 20" = $6.00 Sizes over 16" x 20" up to 24" x 30" = $9.00 Sizes over 24" x 20" please call for charges. CRATING AND PACKAGING We can crate and package large murals and display transparencies at an additional charge. Since specifications vary to such a large extent, please call for an exact quotation. INSURANCE All shipments are automatically insured for $100.00. Please let us know if you desire additional insurance coverage. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY All possible precautions are taken by our staff in handling art work, digital media, slides, prints, negatives, transparencies and film processed by our lab. If damages should occur, our liability shall be limited to replacing damaged film with unexposed film of the same type and amount. Except for such replacement, the acceptance by Hamilton Color Lab, Inc., of customer art work, digital media, slides, prints, negatives, transparencies and film is without other warranty or liability, and recovery for incidental or consequential damages is excluded. REMAKE POLICY If a remake is necessary due to a lab error, we require the following: 1. The transparency or print to be remade 2. The original negative or transparency 3. Clear written instructions on needed corrections. Remakes must be returned within 10 working days of the original invoice date to receive full credit. TERMS Completed orders (ready for pick-up or to be shipped) will be marked COD unless pre-paid or an open account has been approved. To establish an open account, please ask for and fill out a Hamilton Color Lab, Inc., credit application. Upon approval you will receive a monthly statement mailed on the first and due on the 10th of each month. Accounts are past due if not paid within 30 days. All past due accounts are subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% APR). Open accounts delinquent 60 days or more automatically become COD and are subject to collection procedures. There is a $20.00 service fee for each check returned. Our Product Guarantee: All services at Hamilton Color Lab, Inc., are absolutely guaranteed 100%. Should you not be completely satisfied with your order please let us know. We will gladly make it right, or refund your money at your convenience.
