We offer E-6 (slide and transparency films up to 8x10's) film processing only. We have a state-of-the-art dip and dunk hanger processor for E-6 films which is equipped with a battery backup.
We no longer offer C-41 (color negative) film processing. We just do not receive enough orders for that service to justify keeping the line going.
I still have 3 color film rolls, which expired in 2000. Would it be possible to have them developed after all this time?
The answer is yes! If the film is E-6 film then it can still be developed at HCL. Depending on how the film has been stored it could still be in very good, usable condition.
Does your lab offer black and white film processing and custom black and white printing?
The digital revolution has taken its toll on the traditional photographic services offered by HCL. Custom black and white printing and black and white film processing services are no longer available. We can still print beautiful black and white photos on our LightJet 430 but only from digital image and graphics files.
