Cropping Guide Cropping 35mm proportioned images ( 3:2 ratio ) to standard frame sizes The 35mm format is not compatible with standard print sizes. When ordering standard print sizes from 35mm proportioned images please use the examples below as a reference for cropping. The black areas represent the portion of the image lost when printing to the following standard frame sizes from 35mm proportioned images: 4x5, 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, 20x24, 24x30, and 30x40.  If cropping instructions are not included with your order and you have indicated a standard frame size for your print, we will contact you to ask about your preference.
